Frankie is a super handsome and friendly hound. He is 5 and a half years old and still has some of that puppy energy. He is great with people (including small children) and other dogs (never aggressive) and loves to play. His favorite past time is chasing balls and barking at them if they get stuck somewhere he can't get to. He lived in a household as the only pet for the first 4 years of his life and then moved into a household with another dog so he can do both. Frankie is a very loyal dog and just wants to please his owners.

Frankie likes to take short walks. He's not very good on a regular leash, but he does great using a gentle leader. Like all bassets, he just likes to sniff around and follow his nose. He also travels well in the car.

Frankie is house trained and really prefers to be inside the home hanging out with the rest of the family. If he's separated from the pack he will cry and let you know that he's unhappy. He wants nothing more than to snuggle up next his owners and makes for the most loving companion.

Frankie recently had a check up at the vet (including blood work) and was declared healthy. He is up to date on his vaccinations.
