Honeybun's name suits her well! She is a friendly gal who gets along with everyone including adults, children of all ages, other dogs, and cats. She is a very happy, easygoing basset who adapts to new situations with a wagging tail and an easy manner. Anyone who has the pleasure of knowing her falls in love with her. 

Honeybun is housebroken, has some basic training, is spayed and is in good health. 

Honeybun had some challenges before she came into GGBR.  She had been adopted (origin unknown) and her adoptive owner had to give her up after a few years because of a move. The owner, who had registered her as a companion dog, found a new family for her through Craigs List. The new owners were not in a position to keep her, unsuccessfully tried to turn her into the shelter, and after  having her for a week, they surrendered her to GGBR. In spite of all that, she is one happy hound.
