It is hard to believe that Gertie is no longer a puppy agewise as she acts like a puppy, perhaps making up for lost time. If one looks at Gertie or reachs out to touch her, she immediately flops over to make herself available for belly rubs. She is a cuddly, playful, happy girl whose tail wags constantly. She gets along well with everyone and brings joy to anyone lucky enough to be in her presence.
Gertie is in good health but needs to put on a few pounds. She is a classic basset in appearance with a long body, very long ears and loose skin.
Gertie would fit happily into any loving household!
