Happy and loving, this little gal is ready to bring joy to her new forever family. 6-year-old Foxy Lady is smart as a whip and high energy (for a basset!). She loves to go on walks and car rides--and loves to be with people. She is food motivated and easy to train. A great dog for a family with older kids (10+), she is good with other dogs. It is unknown how she gets along with cats. Foxy Lady's exuberance leads to her being a vocal houndie…she makes her wishes known. (Adoptive family may need to learn to speak "dog"!) Foxy needs a little extra TLC because of skin allergies. I would be best if she is in a home with no carpet (it seems to irritate her belly) and where her family can monitor her diet.
Foxy is spayed, heart worm negative, up to date on her vaccinations…she is ready for her new family. Special Needs: NOTE: FOXY IS VERY ALLERGIC TO CARPETING!! She also cannot tolerate corn based foods. Other Pictures of Foxy (click to see larger version):
