Pure and simple, Gretel is a loving and fun dog. Like many Bassets her love for food, or even the idea of food makes her a little sneaky but obedient to no end if there is even a hint of a treat. She especially loves bread, any bread. Otherwise, she likes to sleep on her couch with one eye open to be sure no food has been left unattended. Gretel is very friendly and gets along with everyone and everything. She hates to be left alone... to the point of non stop whistling/baying. Gretel really likes to be included. 

Gretel is housebroken, spayed, up to date on her immunizations.
