Freckles is a darling 8-year-old female basset who was surrendered with her (daughter?) "sister", Baby by someone who could no longer keep the dogs, and was very sad to give them up.  Freckles is AKC registered and comes with her papers.  She is spayed and up to date on routine vaccinations.  Aside from being overweight and probably needing some dentistry, she is in good health.  She and Baby were much loved in their previous home.  Baby has been adopted, but Freckles is still looking for a new loving home in which to spend the rest of her life.  

Freckles probably needs gentleness and patience while she adjusts to a new environment, so she would probably be best in a home with no children under the age of 10 years old.  Please consider adopting this wonderful squishy basset girl.
