I am Fred Basset!

I know there are a lot of  cute bassets that share my name, but I am one of a kind. Just looking at my beautiful unique coat will tell you that I am a happy, friendly  4 year old fellow who loves to play. At 67 pounds, I am a big boy. Some smaller dogs say that I am too full of play so I need to spend my play energy with dogs who are more my size. I love car rides, receiving attention from my people, and i am well housetrained. I would be most happy if I were not left alone for extended periods of time unless I have a playful doggie companion. I haven't been around cats and I may find myself playing too rough with them.
