The loving owner of Bae surrendered her because, out of necessity, her living situation is changing, making it impossible for her to keep Bae. She adopted Bae early in Bae's life and has always provided loving care for her. Bae is a 10 year old spayed healthy female who has received consistent veterinary care and is not on any medication. She is very sweet, loves kids, gives kisses, and is friendly with everyone, including strangers. She is afraid of very large dogs, but otherwise gets along well with all other dogs. As for her name, her owner had wanted a basset who would bay, so she named her dog Bae. It was soon learned that Bae had no interest in baying and has never bayed in spite of much encouragement to do so! \ More about BaeGood with Dogs, Good with Kids Special Needs: She was diagnosed with a UTI on 3/30/24, was on antibiotics, had a recheck in mid April which showed that her UTI needs more treatment.
