This cute fellow is Duke. Duke is a very happy, active little guy – 44 lbs. He is 4-5 years old. He is very affectionate and loves attention.  Duke seems to like children; we don't know how he reacts to cats. He generally gets along with other dogs, but can sometimes be dog-selective. Duke would be a good family dog, or dog for someone who wants a sweet companion. 

Duke definitely looks like a basset hound, but we suspect that he may have some spaniel mixed in.
