Jenny is an 8 month old spayed female basset hound who was surrendered to GGBR becasue her owner was not able to housetrain her. Her present foster parents who are adopting her said that she had made progress with housetraining but following her spay procedure, she backslid on that and has had some accidents in the house. Regardless, the foster family is adopting her.
Jenny is a sweet happy little basset who gets along with other dogs, kids and adults. She is very in to chewing items, almost as though she is teething. It sounds as though her behavior is still that of a puppy.

Special Needs: When she came to GGBR, had had a urinalysis which indicated that she has crystals in her urine and may need a special diet. She was not put on the special diet and when evaluated again by her present vet, there were no crystals present. Thus, a special diet is not needed.
