Two yr old bundle of energy!

ADOPTION PENDING - Chariton (now affectionately known as Bigfoot or Biggie to his foster family!) is a 2 yr old tri colored neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations and is on heartworm medication. He is a sweet boy who is learning manners and how not to misbehave. He has a tendency to jump on people so small children may be overwhelmed by him. With training he will overcome this behavior. He hates his nails clipped but his foster mom is helping him get over his feet being touched, and he is already beginning to accept this. He can be possessive of objects that he has found for himself (not so much with items that you give him to play with, but with sticks and goodies he's foraged for in the yard!) so should be in a dog savvy household who understands dogs and bassets in particular. He would make a great addition to the right home. Isn't he beautiful?
