AVAILABLE BEGINNING MARCH 9!! Walter’s foster parent has this to say about this loving houndie: ”Walter is a very handsome 8+ year-old male who is a real pleasure to have around. He's very laid-back - hardly ever barks - and is patient for just about everything. He is very affectionate, and petting his head is a treat as it feels like velvet! He has mild to moderate hip dysplasia but he's currently taking a daily pain/anti-inflammatory pill (and will for life), getting once-a-month acupuncture treatments and a once a month Adequan shot. Those treatments keep him active and very comfortable. He uses a doggie door with no problem, is good riding in the car, would be great with children, and I believe cats would be okay, too (he doesn't chase squirrels!) This is one of the BEST bassets I've had the pleasure of fostering, and that says a LOT!" Special Needs: Medical issues: hip dysplasia. A home with no stairs.
