Helen is a sweet basset mix who loves to lounge in her bed and enjoys receiving attention from her people. She is easy going, loyal and loving, gets along with people and other dogs, and does well on walks and outings. She would prefer being in a home where there are older children and at least one other dog for companionship. Helen is housetrained, spayed, microchipped, has excellent teeth, and is up to date on her vaccinations. Helen is on meds which successfullly treat the artititis in her knees and ankles. The meds include a supplement, an anti-inflammatory drug and a monthly shot. The only limitation to her exercise is that she does not do well with numerous stairs and she would have a difficult being around young active children.
