Buddy was surrendered by the daughter of the owner as the owner's death was imminent. The daughter was able to give GGBR much information about Buddy because she didn't know him and her father was unable to communicate due to his failed health.  According to Buddy's foster parent, he is a very easy going loving dog who thrives on attention. It is obvious that he had been loved and was used to being the center of attention of his owner. 

Buddy is in good health except that he is very overweight. He has lost some weight since being in his foster home as he is now enjoying walks and has adjusted to having  a restricted diet.
