This boy has it all! He's handsome, good natured, quiet and a good traveler.
Frank has a gorgeous coat of dark brown and white, with lots of beautiful brown freckles. He was a stray at a Sacramento shelter, so we don't know his actual age, or history. The shelter guessed Frank to be about 6 years old. We suspect that he may be older, but he has plenty of energy and gets VERY excited to see his leash. He loves walks! He also rides nicely in the car.
Frank is friendly with people, dogs and cats. Frank is playful, although not very interested in balls, or toys. He does like a game of "chase", though. The best part about Frank? He's not much of a barker! Even in the company of a very noisy foster "brother", Frank keeps his cool. Frank accepts being left home alone, with no fuss.
Frank is getting a housebreaking refresher course in his foster home, but, otherwise, he is well mannered in the house. Frank sleeps on dog beds, or often chooses to sleep in an open dog crate. Food left close to the edge of the counter is probably not safe from Frank, but he leaves non-edible items alone.
Frank is thin and is a slightly picky eater. He eats his kibble and canned food, but does not like many commercial dog treats. Plain old dog biscuits may be more his style.
Frank is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and is heartworm negative.
Frank is a dog that would fit into almost any home!
