Here is a report from Buck's (known as Buster Buck to his) foster home!

"Buster has a wonderful personality. He likes other dogs, enjoys the dog park immensely, and loves children of all ages. Buster is inquisitive, watches everything you do, and loves to learn.  He likes to take people's socks so that you will chase him. When he is tired from a day of exercise, 'sock stealing' is the last activity on his list!  He sleeps through the night. His crate is getting too small for him. He likes the crate when he can walk in himself. However, if the crate is misused as a prolonged punishment is not good for him. Is is apparent that he has suffered from hours of lack of stimulation and loneliness.  He needs exercise!!!!  He does not like to be left in the backyard and will cry and bark to be let in.  He likes the fact that we are around, all the time, as this quells his fear of abandonment.  He is an awesome dog!!!  He has brought us hours of laughter."

Buck is doing well with his housetraining.  He marked a lot in the house when he first arrived but now he is neutered and learning the rules. His foster home are putting in a lot of work with him to make sure he learns some ground rules of behavior for his forever home.

He is still very much a puppy and prospective adopters need to understand that he has spent the first year of his life without much structure or training... think of him as a new puppy and be prepared to take him to training classes and he'll reward you ten fold!
