Benny is not shy about getting attention. He will walk over, and if you’re sitting down, he will lie down on your lap. He will quietly whine for you to continue to pet him. He loves to be picked up and carried like a baby and he lays his head back while you rock him or walk around with him. He loves his humans. Benny walks very well on a leash. He really enjoys his walks. He doesn’t pull and walks next to you. He loves the company of other dogs of all shapes and sizes. He shows submissiveness towards dominant dogs. He loves to chase and be chased. He sleeps and wants to share a bed with his other foster brothers and sisters. Benny is respectful to our cat but will sometimes chase him. He could be OK with a cat that is used to dogs. Benny is still working on potty training. Even with a consistent schedule, he won’t always give a signal that he needs to pee and will pee in his male wrap. This may get easier, now that he is neutered. Benny would do best in a house that has a yard. He loves being outside and sunning himself on the deck or in the yard. He loves his naps too.
