Learn more about the Basset Hound.
Yarel is a sweet young dog who came to GGBR from a rescue in Cabo San Lucas. She has a dominant personality and is full of energy. She gets along with other dogs as long as the other dogs are self assured and not willing to give in to her dominance. She gets along with cats and with children. Yarel is very smart, house trained, uses the dog door and will benefit from frequent walks. She is not particularly food motivated; it was thought at first that she had food aggression issues but that has not proved to be true. Yarel is loving and affectionate and enjoys rolling over for belly rubs.
Special Needs: Yarel has some skin allergies; she benefits from a cytoport shot once a month. |
